Horses are a part of my life.

They have given me moments of pleasure and of confusion. Because you never know what a horse will do. But when the trust is there, and you find that that living creature gives itself to you and you to it, mentally and physically. You create harmony.

When I work with horses in my own way. There is a communication that is hard for me to explain. I think that this has to do with my ability to create and make music, with my own body.

As a singer you learn to control certain parts of your body, and at the same time relax other parts. You are able, through your body language, to communicate with not only your voice, but also your body to an audience, and have them understand your emotion.  I think that this is also true of my work with horses. They are animals that not only communicate through vocal gestures but also, and more importantly through body gesture. I am lucky that I am able to have beautiful Friesian horses and that I can use my other talents to create something new and different.
